A brother and sister flee their cruel stepmother, but the boy drinks enchanted water and is turned into a deer. The two hide away in the heart of the forest. Years later, a young king stumbles upon the cottage whilst hunting deer. He instantly falls in love and asks Little Sister to be his Queen. The cruel stepmother discovers what has happened and engineers Little Sister’s death. But the little deer helps the King discover the truth and he brings Little Sister back to life. With the stepmother defeated, the enchantment is broken and Little Brother resumes his human shape. All live happily ever after.
