The story was very relevant to our time regarding climate change, and so much of it touched me and was familiar being a grandmother myself. They created the atmosphere of all the different areas from the airport to the dance studio and streets of Buenos Aires, with only sound effects.
A thought-provoking, sensitive, funny, moving, poignantly relevant and viscerally relatable, tragic tale of unrequited love.
Your weaving of the themes of human-driven climate change, with the challenges that most people of middle age and beyond face, with the thread of learning to tango was a master stroke of creativity.
I really enjoyed the story in tango and the stories released by it. Wonderful. The physicality was brill: Bill's condor, Gill's toad face. I have spent most of today feeling bereft. Theatre of this sort is wonderful.
Just watched this performance in Cheltenham. Their performance took me back to Buenos Aires (I have to learn to tango) and her rendition of going back to her grand daughter brought me to tears. A brilliant performance by Gill & Bill!
I thoroughly enjoyed last night's performance. The whole concept was a dance inter-weaving the strands of all the stories. A really good way to tackle important issues making it personal without preaching. It was a beautiful piece of work and nothing less than I would expect from Multi Story!
This show takes you on a captivating journey into the heart of Argentine tango. The story of two individuals who discover tango later in life resonates deeply with those who have experienced the transformative power of this dance. The performance is a beautiful blend of human emotion and movement; and a celebration of tango's ability to connect people across generations, geographies and cultures.
The overwhelming effect of such a beautiful performance left me wondering and thinking for the hours following and doubtless will continue to do so for days and months to come.
I just loved it! It felt like you expressed lots of different threads about what it is to be alive and human at this time of my life, in this age. And you wove those threads into something that for me, expressed a beautiful freedom of the dance of the heart. Thank you both for creating something that could do that... it's very special.
Wonderful performance. So many interlinked stories, all of which I was invested in and wanted to know the outcome. Oh, and the dancing wasn't too bad either!
I loved the gentle humour, tenderness and mild surprise at arriving at a different stage in life and thinking more about your place in it. Thought provoking on every level and great to feel included... like a warm hug on a stormy night.
It was a great piece. We loved it. So many dimensions to the dialogue and the stories.
This was absolutely first-class entertainment. I enjoyed every second and as an older person from a farming background found so much to be relevant.
Just wanted to thank you again for bringing such a classy, moving, well constructed theatre piece to our village hall. It had so much to say about getting older and our role within our families, but just also the wider issues of climate change and what we’re leaving the younger generation.

It was a very “feel-good” evening and I enjoyed your excellent performances. You are highly experienced, powerful and committed to what you do I loved the way Gill greeted the audience herself and handed out programmes. You can’t get more hands on than that. The socialising and tango session afterwards was brilliant.
I was astonished at the ease with which so many hard-headed Northern folk abandoned their inhibitions and got up to give it a go themselves. This in itself was a tribute to both of you. Both excellent hosts and role models.
Just a note to thank you for a fine evening. You created such a warm atmosphere and … all of the audience told me at the end how much they enjoyed it. How lovely to see a show with no props, with strong characters whom you create so quickly with just your own powerful presence on stage.
We greatly enjoyed hosting you - yours was the easiest, most relaxed show I think we've done, and for that we thank you profusely!
Everyone who attended was blown away by the performance. It exceeded their expectations by a long way. They were particularly impressed by the quality of the actors.
This production was very different to previous ones we have held. Dance, theatre, music in the round attracted a wider audience who thoroughly enjoyed it.
This was up there with some of the best Rural Touring shows I have seen.
The audience were completely transfixed throughout. The piece was funny and engaging as well as being moving and thought provoking.
It was slick and professional, brilliantly done and the audience loved it.
One audience member who had been attending shows there for years told me it was the best thing he’d seen there.
